Experience/Qualifications:

Key Technologies:

Senior FPGA Designer
Astinco is seeking a senior FPGA Designer for an immediate contract opening. The successful applicant must have extensive knowledge and/or experience designing and developing with VHDL and FPGAs. He/she must be familiar with CAE tool methodology for schematic entry, HDL coding, code compiling, simulation, synthesis and routing. The candidate must be proficient in both written and verbal communication as well as possessing good people skills as he/she will work closely with hardware and software engineers performing co-design, participate in design reviews and provide design documentation.

Experience/Qualifications:

• B.S. in Electrical / Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years with FPGA development tools (ModelSim, Xilinx)
• 5+ years in VHDL design, simulation and testbench development
• 5+ years with general logic design (control and interfaces)
• 3+ years with basic lab test equipment- oscilloscope, analyzers, generators...
• Experience with microprocessor bus interfaces and protocols (e.g. PowerPC)
• Experience working with Xilinx FPGAs (Spartan 3 and Virtex 4, 5)
• Design experience with DDR/DDRII SRAM, DRAM, and SerDes I/O
• General programming skills, C/C++, scripting would be a plus
• Good Design Documentation practices (specifications, state diagrams, design description, theory of operation)

Electronic TechnologisT Astinco is seeking an energetic Electronic Technologist to assist with lab activities. He/she will assist Design Engineers in the development of new circuits by performing electrical circuit prototyping, breadboard construction and troubleshooting. The candidate will also work with various computer systems and programs to enter schematics, design circuit boards, enter bills of material and perform cost analysis of products. He/she will discuss layouts, assembly procedures and problems with Mechanical Engineers. As well, the applicant will be required to draw sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units, write technical reports and develop charts, graphs and schematics to describe and illustrate a system's operating characteristics, malfunctions and deviations from design.

Sales Representative Astinco is seeking independent Sales Representatives. The individuals will be responsible for marketing our Engineering Design Services to a wide range of businesses and industries. The location may be anywhere in North America.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of successful outside sales experience within one specific industry
• Familiarity with product development stages, especially with electronic industries and their related design needs
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent proven experience
